Edward Idol

Edward Idol, son of an early Brown County settler, was a very successful cattleman and moved into the Hiawatha area from Irving Township. He came with his parents to White Cloud, Kansas, in 1867. Mr. Idol was considered one of the most successful farmers and stockmen in Brown county, always interested in everything for the improvement and betterment of local, state, and national conditions.
