Elizabeth McClave Story

Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Story, which occurred at her home in Pawnee City, Nebraska, on November 16th. Mrs. Story at the time of her decease was ninety-five years old. She was born in this county in 1819, near East Springfield, being a daughter of Stewart McClave, one of the pioneers of that section. She was the mother of Mrs. George A. Miser of Annapolis, and an aunt of John McClave of this city. Mrs. Story made her home in this county from 1819 to 1856, in which year she and her husband, Harrison Story and the family, moved to the west.
