Richard Edward "Ricky" Rudeloff, Jr.passed away September 11, 2009 in Richmond, Texas, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 55. Richard was born October 31, 1953 in San Antonio to Richard Edward, Sr and Patsy June (Hicks) Rudeloff. He married Brenda Faye Doubrava in Beeville on September 11, 1982. He was Vice President for Chase Bank (Special Credits Group). Richard was a member of Mission Bend Baptist Church and sang bass in the church choir. Ricky had a passion for playing golf and enjoyed playing the guitar and on Saturdays, he loved to gather with his family to visit, Bar-B-Que, and grill. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Branda Doubrava Rudeloff of Richmond; four children, Jennifer Zimmer of Houston, Matthew Zimmer, Jr. of New York, Brooke Rudeloff of San Antonio and Richard "Trey" Rudeloff, III of Houston; sister, Debra Rudeloff Engelke and her husband Miles of Seguin; father, Richard E. "Dicky" Rudeloff, Sr. and his wife Martha of Beeville; and two grandchildren, Nicolas and Caden Zimmer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy June Hicks Rudeloff and 1 sister, Mary Suzanne Rudeloff. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, officiated by Deacon Doug Curtis of Mission Bend Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. Musical selections are "How Great Thou Art" performed by soloist, Ray Richie and organist, Mary Ellen Thoms. Those acting as pallbearers will be, Robert Key, Terry Ramsey, Mike Zarate, Gerald Wenigar, Ray Richie and Joe Fowler. Those named as honorary pallbearers will be, Tommy Daughters and Sam Benavides. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville with bagpipper, Dan Sheppard, playing "Amazing Grace" and "Going Home". Arrangements entrusted to Galloway & Sons Funeral Home, 409 N. Richard Edward Rudeloff Jr., 55, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009. He was born Oct. 31, 1953 in San Antonio. He was a vice president for Chase Bank and a member of Mission Bend Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Rudeloff; children, Jennifer Zimmer, Matthew Zimmer Jr., Brooke Rudeloff, and Richard Rudeloff III; sister, Debra Engelke; father and stepmother, Richard and Martha Rudeloff; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy June Hicks Rudeloff; and sister, Mary Rudeloff.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Galloway Sons Funeral Home with interment at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville.
